Vere is Technical Director of the company, but also the ‘shade’ expert with a neverending amount of techy expertise and know-how. Be it sun sails or canopies, he will guide you through what’s best for your project location, and ensure the correct specification and a faultless installation, guiding you through planning and detail design.
Illy the dog
Happily tries out the latest sofas and chairs for comfort! She has an obvious preference for fuschia and terracotta…
Carolyn requires a strong coffee in the morning before handling all of the behind the scenes action – HR, accounts, operations, finance planning and ISO - to keep the business running smoothly. She’s also in charge of the office playlist. Hurrah!
Sales and Business Development Manager
Herve is primarily responsible for larger hospitality projects, as well as other key sectors including spa, marine and commercial, so if you have any projects in the pipeline, give him a call! With sales development and project management experience, both internationally and on home turf, Herve’s extensive knowledge of the interior design industry is also an asset to his role at The Modern Garden Company.
George is our marketing spin queen, award-winning, multitasking resident journo. She keeps all our marketing material informative and useful. Be it events, brochures, newsletters and press releases, editorial or advertising, George gathers all the nitty-gritty info and gets it out there. As our brand ambassador, she also keeps The Modern Garden brand, well...modern and most importantly, on brand!
Sales Account Manager
Ross is our ‘man-about-town’ and is responsible for building on the strong relationships we already have with both clients and suppliers. He’s on hand to give advice about fabrics, materials and all of our collections, and is more than happy to drop in and see you. If you need samples, or would like him to come along and do a presentation to update your design team, he’s your man.
Operations Administrator/Directors Support
Our can-do Mel is Operations Administrator/Director's Support, overseeing logistics and deliveries. Providing an essential part of our service to you, Mel ensures all orders are processed seamlessly, without any glitches along the way. Any problems, she will promptly sort them.
Marketing & Sales Administrator
Meg is the friendly voice at the end of the phone. Any enquiries, whether it’s a request for fabric samples or a catalogue, she’s onto it straightaway. With her social media hat on, Meg also loves tweeting, as well as posting our latest news and gorgeous outdoor images on Instagram, so don’t forget to follow us! Meg was also our office ‘Bake-off’ finalist. Her prize for winning – baking the team some very delicious red velvet cupcakes!
